Logistic structuring models, optimum structuring model suggestions for Samsun and Mersin cities

In this study, have been examined the development of logistic sector and logistic structuring which arise in parallel with the development of logistic sector. In accordance with Turkey`s logistic potential, especially Samsun and Mersin cities are considered and logistic structuring model suggestions have been prepared for these regions.In the first stage of the thesis, are examined basic concepts and historical improvement of logistic. In the second stage, analyizing the logistic structuring models, best structuring samples are dealt with globally. In the third stage, road, seaway, airway and railway connections which provide the substructure of logistic structuring have been examimed broadly. Also, logistic substructure investments which consist the economical development and trade potential have been discussed.In the last stage, has been analyzied the logistic potential Samsun and Mersin cities in accordance with specific criterias. Logistic structures which are most likely to be constructed in Black Sea and Mediterranean Region should be Samsun and Mersin cities primarily and as a result of examining structuring models, logistic structuring model suggestions have been made.
