An evaluation the Azerbaijan?s market from the point of view of logistic management

For supplying the needs of logistic customers, one should control the process from the beginning of the raw material till the end. This process includes the materials in the supply chain, services and the storage, planning, practice of information flow into two directions in an effective way. Logistic management in the companies begins with the prediction of customer demands. Globalization affects logistic sector as well as other sectors. Logistic companies should compete better in the environment of globalization and they should be open to the recent advancements of logistics. In this context it would be essential to perceive such advancements as `supply chain? and `E-logistic? better.According to its geographical position Azerbaijan is situated on important roads like the Historical Silk Way. Besides, Azerbaijan has inherited important logistic infrastructures from the Soviet Union which have used to take out, store and distribute the It?s underground sources. On the other hand the sudden collapse of Soviets, as in many Turkish republics, caused Azerbaijan to experience problems in economic, social and political areas. Those problems certainly affected the logistic sector as well.The main goal of this study is to determine that what can the both logistic businesses which in the Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Government do for improving the logistic sector. In order to achieve this goal, SWOT analyses have done.
