Abstract (EN)

Trade volume has expanded by rapid development in information technology in the world and globalization has been seen in trade sector. Globalisation of trade has come up with increase competition between companies. Companies have developed new strategies in order to protect their market position and create competition advantage. Global competition obligate companies to produce better products, produce and deliver products more quickly. As production cost are nearly similar in every company, so little developments in logistics activities have become important for companies competition.One of the most important parts of cost reduction and creation of competition advantage is stock control. Stock control can be defined as planning and coordination all activities to produce right product in right quantity in optimum production cost. Appropriate stock control increase profit of companies by making them get rid of unnecessarry stocks.In this study, a research has been made about stock control models and given information about purpose and usage of stock control models. In application, comparasion has been made between MAN Turkey Corp. Stock system and Wagner Whitin and Silver Meal stock control models. As a result, Wagner Whitin models has been found to be the most appropriate model for increase in profit in the company.Key Words: Logistic, Stock Control, Dynamic Inventory Control Models, Cost, Productivity.
