A suggestion for the purpose of enhancing logistics pricing by using data mining techniques

Logistics as a scope of supply chain is becoming more important day by day. When it is thought that logistics economy is influenced by many sub disciplines like buying, production, inventory control, distribution, it can be seen that it is not so easy to control in logistics sector. This shows that it is so hard to do general pricing for logistics enterprises. In this work, a suggestion is presented in order to help transportation pricing for the purpose of finding clues by using data mining techniques. Firstly, logistics and data mining concepts are explained. Then, the analysis is made by using artificial data.
