Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, in develop countries transfusion of the blood components are required by the patients instead of the whole blood.Many methods are used toseperate the whole blood andfiltration of blood is commonly used method. The purpose of the leukocyte filration is to decrease the level of leukocyte in blood while keeping the eritrosite level high prior to transfussion. Because, it has been reported that during blood component transfusion therapy, leukocytes can cause manyadverse reactions, including nonhemolytic febrile transfusion reaction with high fever and vomiting, platelet refractoriness, grafted versus host disease, and transmission of viruses, such as cytomegalovirus and HIV. It is proposed that the most effecting factors in the mechanism of the filtration of leukocyte are mechanical sieving and adhesion. So, in this thesis, it is used two different nonwoven layers composed of two different polymers (PBT and PA-12) which both of them causes adhesion. The optimization is performed regarding the numbers of layers causing sieving and adhesion. To get nonwoven polymer layers melt blown technique is utilized.
