Lugat-i̇ Si̇yer-i̇ Veysî: Text analysi̇s and transcri̇pti̇on

"Dürretü't-tāc fî Sîreti Ṣāḥibi'l-mi'rāc" is called literary work, which was written by Veysî and to describe the events from emigration until the battle of Badr. This thesis is directly related to the history of Islam. İt aims to analyze plenty of foreign-origin words, literary languages, and the intensive using of fancy prosestyled langauge in his work and consequently his works have become difficult to read and understand. For this reason, an unknown lexicographer analyzed the language of this work and explained foreign words to understand and to read more clearly and due to that a dictionary of this work was accomplished. In this thesis, it aims to underscore this dictionary and its lexical order provided alphabetically as "Elif be" and each letter is listed in the order of its phonetical forms. İn this dictionary, some words' meanings are not given by the author, although they are written.
