Abstract (EN)

Within the context of this thesis, Eastern Black Sea region city Giresun's highland parts' second millennium had been researched.As a result of the conducted surface research new foundings had been resurfaced and under the light of these foundings second millennia settlings had been introduced.Intra settlings relationships had been brought into the light; life style of the concerning era's people had been re-researched. Also, ceramic illustrations and their characteristics are included this thesis according to the conducted research within the given region. The region, which was analyzed according to second millennia settling maps, contemporary maps, graphs and photographs, had been tried to be analyzed by visual and quantitative data. All in all, an effort to explain second millennia of Giresun's highland parts from several aspects had been put into. Keywords: East Black Sea Region.
