Abstract (EN)
This study aims to reveal the effects of shamanism in Hungarian tales and legends. In addition to introducing the historical, written and linguistic results related to the old Hungarian belief system; The motifs that may belong to Shamanism in Hungarian folk tales and legends were examined. The starting point of our research is the Hungarian Folk Tales Catalogue; The aim is to examine dozens of folk tale books and collections of legends and to identify the motifs belonging to Shamanism in them.
