Özet (EN)
This thesis was undertaken in two stages field and laboratory work in Maçka and Çaykara highway tunnels. 11 different excavation glasses with specific energy (kJ/m3), drilling rates (m/min) and bit wear rate (mg/m) values were calculated. In order to determine the drilling and bit wear rate speeds, 3 pieces with semi-ballistic button bit were used. Also, the wear changes observed at the tip of the button were examined after punching. For the purposes of laboratory studies, 11 different excavation glass samples were taken from Maçka and Çaykara tunnels and on the rock samples taken, the drillability abrasiveness, physico-mechanical properties, specific energy values and drilling speeds were calculated. As a result, the correlation analysis of the data was conducted and they were statistically evaluated.
