Abstract (EN)

Although the depreciation subject generally has a similar meaning, it shows a special case in mining enterprises. Because useful life is the basis of depreciation. In this case, mineral ore is the asset, which is subject of useful life, because of benefit for the mining enterprise or due to cost for getting. The asset, which is running out, is mineral ore. Therefore, when the depreciation application is being done, the base factor is the ratio in extracted mine to total reserve. TMS 16 and TFRS 6, were published by public oversight accounting and auditing standards Institution, are standards which are decisive for depreciation application. In addition, Depreciaton Application has taken place in tax legislation, how the application should be applied. In this study it is concluded that; depreciation application in mining enterprises has been examined in terms of both accounting standards and tax legislation. Uniform chart of accounts should be rearranged for mining enterprises. After the end of mineral production, there is a legal obligation to make the field in previous situation. In this process there are costs, and for these costs there should be provision throughtout the duration of the production. There also should be active and regular control system over the mining enterprises.
