Abstract (EN)
Nationalism is one of the most important study area. Many people think that nationalism lose its importance because of the globalisation. But nationalism doesn't lose its importance, on the contrary it has become more improtant. When the nationalism is being more impertant and EU harmonization process is start Kurdish Nationalism has began to develop. Cinema is one of the area that the nationalism is visible. Cinema is one of the speedy way to transferr the idology and idea. We can see the nationalism's elements frequently in many films from past to today. It's possible to see these elements in the films which is telling about Kurds. In this thesis, How the nationalism represent in Mahsun Kırmızıgül's films and also it's anlysized that how the director reflect his perception of nationalism in his films. Sivic Nationalism comes into prominence in his films and Nationalism has been described though the state and citizen relations.
