Abstract (EN)
The study was conducted with a total of 113 people; 57 women and 56 men, who were diagnosed with major depression disorder, between the ages of 17 - 60 who do not have schizophrenia or psychosis. Sociodemographic information form, five factor narcissism scale short form, Beck anxiety scale and Beck depression inventory were used in the study. As a result of the study, a statistically significant relationship was found between the five-factor narcissism scale and the Beck anxiety scale (p = .010) and the Beck depression inventory (p = .011). There is a significant relationship between the fragile narcissism subscale, which is one of the subscales of the five narcissism scales, and the Beck anxiety scale (p = .010) and the Beck depression inventory (p = .011) and grand narcissism (p = .002), However, there was no significant relationship between the grandiose narcissism subscale and the Beck anxiety scale and the Beck depression inventory. There is also another significant relationship between Beck anxiety scale and Beck depression inventory (p = .001). When research was conducted to determine whether the relationship between the scales used differs according to sociodemographic characteristics, a statistically significant difference was found only in the Fragile narcissism subscale and the gender dimension. Women scored higher than men (p = .008). On the Beck anxiety scale, there was a significant difference between marital status (p = .044), job status (p = .001), income status (p = .013), and place of residence (p = .037). For the Beck depression inventory, only the work status (p = .001) dimension shows differences. Since the relationship between the major depression disorder and narcissistic characteristics and anxiety disorder was reached, it was concluded that the presence of narcissistic disorder and anxiety disorder would be appropriate to be investigate comorbidity. Key words: Major depression disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, fragile narcissism, grandiose narcissism, anxiety disorder.
