Abstract (EN)

Malatya and its districts are a cradle to many civilizations, and they contain several works of these civilizations. In this work of ours, portable cultural assets of foundation mosques found in Malatya Province Arapgir District have been discussed. With the study of ours that we haved done in the reagion with such an ancient culture, it has been limited by considering the portable cultural essats in the foundation mosques in Malatya Province Arapgir District. With this study, it has been aimed to record the works found in mosques, bring them to the world of science, protect them and transfer them to future generations. In addition, by comparing the works in the district with the similar examples made in the other regions of Anatolia, the position of the district in these branches of arts during the period is tried to be revealed. In this thesis, which examines the 142 portable cultural assets in the mosques belonging to Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü (the General Directorate of Foundations) in Malatya Province Arapgir District, first of all after the issue of the thesis, its importance, resource and research, the method and order used have been explained, brief history of the district is stated. Later, a brief information is given about the history and architecture of the mosques where portable cultural assets are located. While introducing of the works in the catalogue section of the study, primarily the location as information of identity tag, the material and type used, the way it came to the mosque, the date and dimensions are given, and then the works are explained in detail. The works are classified by the material used in them, and within the classification, they are classified as metal objects, wooden works, manuscripts, woven works and the other work groups. In the last section, a general explanation about the works is made and the place of cultural assets in their own region and in Turkey is concluded by comparing them with other works.
