The Selection of promising mulberries types from some counties of Malatya, Elazığ; Erzincan and Tunceli

This research was carried out in centre of Tunceli, Tunceli-Ulukale county, Elazığ-Beyelması county, Malatya-Arapkir and Eraincan-Apçağa county to select the best mulberry varieties in 1997. In experiment same pomological characteristics such as fruit weight, fruit width, fruit length, leaf width, leaf length leaf stem length TSS and acidity were investigated. According to the results 24-BD-02 and 62-BD-02 type as dried mulberry, 62-BD-03 and 23-BD-02 as treacle mulberry, 44-MD-01 and 24-KD-01 as table mulberry were determined.
