Abstract (EN)
In this study, the data collected from 1944 drilling holes, 1805 seismic wells and 1820 microtremor analysis and used in the calculations made for Malatya province. For the depths of 1.5 m, 3 m, 4.5 m, 6 m, 7.5 m, 9 m, 10.5 m, 12 m, 13.5 m and 15 m, SPT values collected and the bearing strength calculations made as suggested by Türkiye Building Earthquake Code (TBDY) and Terzaghi. After that, by using the SPT values liquefaction analysis were made for a 7.5 magnitude earthquake as suggested in TBDY and Seed & Idriss. The (Vs)30 values collected from the seismic wells and SPT-N values used for the calculations of local soil classifications as suggested by TBDY and Eurocode 8. After calculations, the results were mapped by using GIS based software called as ArcGIS with Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) Interpolation method which is suggested by literature for having better results.
