Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the linden seeds collected from Malatya region were extracted and characterized by oil solvent extraction method. Seeds for experiments At the end of August 2018, linden seeds were collected in the Malatya region and the outer shells were separated from the seeds and oil was obtained with the soxhlet device. Acetone, hexane and ethyl alcohol were used as solvents in the Soxhlet device. In order to determine the oil quality of the obtained oils, they were subjected to some analyzes such as XRD, SEM, elemental analysis, ash determination, saponification number. As a result of the analysis, the oil yield with acetone was 28% by weight, 28.65% with hexane and 33% ethyl alcohol values were determined. In the linden tree seed fatty acid composition, the values by weight% oleic acid: acetone 27,442, hexane 30,852, palmitic acid: acetone 10,9545, hexane 11,929, linoleic acid: acetone 51,188, and 44,145 values were found. Soap number values were 176.72 for hexane as mg KOH / g oil; 246.94 for acetone; it was found to be 232.48 for ethyl alcohol. Ash determination values average 5.575%; Unlike shell ash, it was found to be 2.1%.
