Abstract (EN)

This thesis, on the one hand, aims to discuss the truth, types, criteria, rulings, and different views of scholars on the subject of veiling in Islamic law regarding Muslim women. On the other hand, the veiling issues in the Jahounou region of the Republic of Mali; It examined its history, the different periods in which it lived and passed, the most effective reasons for the publication of the veil in the region, the mistakes made by women during the practice, and the veiling styles in the region and compared them with the provisions of veiling in Islamic law. The most important conclusions reached by the first part of the thesis that veiling is a sharia issue with various evidences, that Islamic scholars do not disagree about its ruling, and that the purpose of veiling is to give importance to the role of women in society. The results of the other part of the thesis are that the relationship between the Muslims of Jahounou region of Mali and the hijab extends to the Ghana Empire, the customs and the family life style have an effect on the practice, and the religious education and especially the women's madrasas have a great role in the spread of the veil in the region
