Abstract (EN)

The Determination Of Antimicrobial Activities And Phytochemical Contains Of Malus floribunda' siebold ex. Van Houtte In this study, antimicrobial activities and phytochemicel contains of extracts Malus floribunda' siebold ex. Van Houtte which were collected in Elazığ are researched. In the study, the free radical scavenging activity, flavonoid, resveratrol and sugar contents, lipid peroxidation, levels of fatty acid, vitamin values, protein and elements amounts were determined. The antimicrobial activity studies thirteen bacteria, three yeast and two dermatophyte were examined. According to results of the experiment, in vitro medium, it is determined that in FeCl group, LPO amounts increases in a large ration with respect to the control group and LPO levels in groups which includes plant extracts and FeCl2, decreases in certain amounts. The LPO lowering effect of plant extracts were determinated to arising from phytochemicals such as flavonoid. Ergosterol, stigmasterol, β-sitosterol and retinol were determined in fruits. Vitamin E in the examples were determined high rate. Fruits were found to contain a different levels of sugar. Ca was the highest detected element which was found in the samples. Protein amounts in the samples were determined the highest as 1.68 mg/g. Fruit extracts showed the highest antimicrobial effect on Bacillus megatarium and the lowest antimicrobial effect Candida tropicalis. Key Words: Malus, phytochemical content, Antimicrobial activity.
