Establishment of material requirement planning system and application in a business

In our age, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide competitive advantage under the constantly changing and developing economic conditions.With the spread of technology, businesses can access technology more easily and cheaply than before. It is the policy of stock management policy that can enable enterprises to survive and gain competitive advantage. In order to meet the demand, the companies that can reach the most suitable material, the appropriate way and the price will always be a strong side in the competition war because of the cost advantage. In order to complete the planned production under appropriate conditions in this competitive environment, the companies implement the material requirements planning system in order to complete the production and shipment activities by keeping the necessary materials at the place of production and keeping the minimum stock as possible. The purpose of material requirement planning is a computerized stock control and production planning system that supports the completion of production and shipment activities with as low stock levels as possible. This thesis includes the establishment and application of material requirements planning system in a composite textile manufacturing company. Therefore, the application was carried out after a large literature review.
