MAN Türkiye A. . has a potential in improving management policy of in-houseparts, which are locally produced within the company for assembly linerequirements. The focus of this study is to determine the optimum inventorypolicy in accordance with the company?s targets and production structure. Thesimulation outputs show that the determined policy has improved theperformance of the current shelf life by 60% in the company. Current ERPsystem is supported with software, which is a necessity for integrating thedetermined policy to the current process. There are further points that thisstudy has focused. Improving the warehouse layout of the in-house parts toreduce forklift movements; defining the scope of e-kanban parts and startingthe implementation of e-kanban within the company. The proposed warehouselayout appeared to improve 32% and 40% for 03H and 04H warehousesrespectively.
