Abstract (EN)

Every branch of science has its own terms. These are key words that are essential for the understanding of the sciences and which, if unknown, are not capable of influencing the meaning and content of knowledge. For this reason, terminology is a type of language specific to that science. In Islamic sciences and in sciences of hadith, we are well aware of the importance of terms. Hadith scholars tried to establish and express to which extant traditions could be attributed to Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) by means of some terms they developed. Especially in this works written for the purpose of bringing together fabricated traditions in the fifth Islamic century onwards and later in studies carried out to declare the reliability of traditions famous among people, it is observed that hadith scholars often used the expression of "authentic in terms of meaning." This expression, which, as far as we can see, has not been examined as a term, is tried to be conceptually examined first and then it is determined what is meant by hadith scholars by this expression, in which meaning and for what kind of narrations they used it. In the first part of the thesis, which is composed of three chapters, the life and the scientific personality of 'Ali al-Qārī is discussed, and in the second chapter the fabricated traditions and expression of "authentic in terms of meaning" are examined. In the third section, traditions described by Ali al-Qārī in his el-Esrâru'l-merfu'a as "authentic in terms of meaning" have been examined within the conceptual framework developed in the previous chapters. As a result, many narrations described as sahīh in terms of meaning both in mawzūāt litrature and also circulated among people as hadīth are also famous among scholars. In addition, many of this kind of narrations have their originals with the same or different wording.
