Abstract (EN)

he Magnificent Ottoman Sarf (Morphology) is a book of morphology, composed by Mehmet Rifat of Manastir in the form of Turkish Grammar so as to teach students the grammatical points. Sarf, as a word in itself, means knowledge of grammar and language structure. The study elucidates the grammatical terms of the period in a systematical order and aims at getting the reader to comprehend these terms through examples.The essence of this study is related with the interpretation of the work, the Magnificent Ottoman Sarf, into Latin form and the explanation of the grammatical terms of the period comprised in this book within the framework of current Turkish grammatical form. The interpretation of the terms comprised in this book is of great importance in terms of making significant contributions to the vocabulary and glossary of the Dictionaries of Turkish Grammatical Terms.Key Words: Magnificent Ottoman Sarf, Mehmet Rifat of Manastir, Turkish Grammar, Grammatical Terms
