Abstract (EN)

EFFECTS OF MANCOZEB ON ZEBRAFISH (Danio rerio) OVARY CELLS SUMMARY Keywords: Zebrafish, Mancozeb, Ovary, Histology, Pesticides Pesticides are defined as chemicals that damage or damage the crops, animals, microorganisms, weeds and other harmful organisms that damage or damage their crops during production, storage and consumption of agricultural products. Mancozeb is an ethylene bisdithiocarbamate (EBDC) pesticide which is used in the treatment of fungal diseases. maternal toxicity, embryotoxicity and characteristics cause teratogenic effects. Our studies of mancozeb in the zebrafish (Danio rerio) examined the effects of the ovary tissue. Zebra fish were exposed to different doses of Mancozeb (5 ppm, 7.5 ppm) and histopathological changes were observed. For histological analysis, histopathological changes in ovarian tissues were examined under light microscopy. Normal ovarian histology was observed in the control group. A decrease in the number of oocytes in experimental groups and deformations in oocytes were observed when compared with the control group.
