Abstract (EN)
Used from a synthetic pesticide mancozeb in 1967, is still hinder the growth of fungi and plants against damage. Although the protection of plants against damage to maternal toxicity, embryo toxicity and characteristics cause teratogenic effects. Our studies of mancozeb in the zebrafish (Danio rerio) examined the acute effects of the testes tissue. Zebrafish were exposed to different doses of Mancozeb (5 ppm, 7.5 ppm) and histopathological changes were observed. 1 control group and 2 experimental group were formed, the zebrafish were dissected at the end of the 5 th day and histopathological changes in the testes were examined under light microscope. While the control group was observed as normal histopathologically, degenerations in seminiferous tubules and disturbances in the form of seminiferous tubules were detected in individuals exposed to the dose. Double and triple combinations were observed in the seminiferous tubules and the openings were clearly observed in the tubular structures. When compared with the control group, increase in the number of sperm cells were observed. Vacuolization were seen in Leyding cells, sperm cells and spermatogenic cell groups. It was observed that structural integrity was deteriorated in spermatogenic cell groups and tubular structures were only filled with sperm.
