Abstract (EN)
In this study, the density, distribution and susceptibility to clinical antifungals and plant extracts of outdoor microfungi were investigated. In our study, air sampling was performed by gravimetric method. Seasonal sampling (in May, August, November and February) of 5 stations in Manisa city center was carried out in the second week of the month. Genifal identification of microfungus isolates was performed before antifungal susceptibility tests were initiated. Antifungal susceptibility tests were performed on solid media. Antifungals used; amphotericin B; fluconazole; and itraconazole. Microfungi isolates were transferred to PDA media containing antifungal and non-antifungal by single point cultivation method and incubated at 270C. Colony developments were monitored daily. Colony diameters were measured. Antifungal susceptibility / resistance status and development levels of Aspergillus isolates were evaluated. Susceptibility test was performed with walnut (Juglans regia L.) and onion (Allium cepa L.) extracts, which have antifungal properties. Thus, antifungal properties of herbal preparations and their comparison with commercial antifungals were determined. In this study, 1777 micro fungi colonies were counted and 31 Aspergillus sp. isolates were obtained.
