Taxonomic investigation of myxomycetes in Manisa

Abstract (EN)
This study has been made on the specimens which were obtained from the 45 different region in 13 station areas of Manisa between the years 2005-2006. The samples were acquired from barks of trees, leaves and the materials of decayed trees. These materials were employed the Moist Chamber Culture and it was tried to develop myxomycetes sporophore. In addıtıon myxomycetes which grew up in its natural environment were obtained. As a result of field and laboratory studies 79 taxa belonging to 9 families and 24 genera were identified, 2 genera and 6 species of these taxa have been recorded for the first time for Turkey, and they were added to the Turkish myxom ycetes. This new records are; Willkommlangea Kuntze. Dictydiaethalium Rost., genera and Dictydiaethalium plumbeum (Schum.) Rost., Hemitrichia abietina (W igand) G.Lister, Diderma carneum Nann.-Bremek., Didymium melanospermum (Pers.) Macbr., Willkommlangea reticulata (Alb.&Schw.) Rost., Symphytocarpus impexus Ing & Nann.-Bremek species. Key words; Manisa, Myxomycetes, Taxonomy and New Record.
