Abstract (EN)
IX ABSTRACT This study presents the results of natural radiation measurement in soil carried out in and around C.B.U. campus in Manisa using gamma spectrometry and aims to establish the baseline maps of gamma radioactivity in soil. For this purpose, 80 soil samples were collected from this region. pH, conductivity, and CaC03 content in soil were determined and also Ca, K, Mg, Na, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, P concentrations of the soil samples were analzed by ICP-AES. Also gross gamma, "°K, ell and eTh contents of the 55 soil samples were determined by Nai (TI) dedector.
