Abstract (EN)

The Old Anatolian Turkish Period is the original Oghuz Turkish to which the Turkish language adhered in the development process in terms of vocabulary. This period is a period in which he brings with him the oldest form and meaning characteristics that he carries with his works. During thisperiod, it was also mentioned in the works that Turkish was a stronger language than Arabic and Persian. This proof is justified by the fact that Gülşehri uses Turkish words in addition to Arabic and Persian words and even includes Turkish word equivalents. Verbs, which are the richest vocabulary of a language, do not have meaning on their own, like nouns, but gain meaning when combined with words or in sentences, showing that Turkish has a rich vocabulary in terms of both nouns and verbs. In the work titled Mantıku't Tayr, the verbs of this rich vocabulary were examined in four main sections (verb formation suffixes from noun, verb formation suffixes from verb, verb mood, compound verbs, verbals) and tried to be explained with examples. Verbs have the characteristics of expressing an action, occurrence, situation, or action. This feature is also seen in the use of descriptive elephants in terms of the aesthetic appearance of the language. Using suffixes as a means of expression within the framework of the language's own possibilities, instead of taking verbs from a foreign language to express situations and events, shows the strong competence of the language.
