Abstract (EN)

Knowing the consumers' price perceptions is a very important issue for companies. Because price plays an important role in consumer's decision of buying and re-buying. The examination of the relationship between brand loyalty and price will shed light on the pricing strategies of the companies during the creation of brand loyalty.In this vein, the purpose of this study is to examine the role of price perception on brand loyalty. The main goal of the this research is to investigate what kind of impact, price perception has on brand loyalty. Additionaly, the relationship between some antecedents of brand loyalty and price perception is tried to be revealed. Thus, both direct and indirect effecs of price perception on brand loyalty are examined. Furthermore, the dimensions of price perception are examined and what extent these dimensions explain the concept are revealed.In order to achieve the goal of the study, an online survey was conducted on smart phone users. In total, 633 questionnaires were found suitable for the analysis. As result of the study, there have been found significant but inverse relationship between price perception and attitudional brand loyalty. In addidion, utilitarian and hedonic value mediates the relationship between price perception and brand loyalty.All of the relationships among the dimensions of price perception are significant and positive except for the relationships between price quality schema and value consciousness, price quality schema and price mavenism, prestige sensitivity and value consciousness. In addiditon, it is revealed that the most exploratory dimension of the concept is price consciousness.Keywords: Attitudional Brand Loyalty, Behavioral Brand Loyalty, Price Perception, Smart Phone
