Abstract (EN)
The main subject of the master thesis is the distribution of Corinthian column capitals in Mediterranean region, that were produced in Marmara Island, also known as Proconnesus in Ancient Period, between 4th – 6th centuries. Within the scope of this study, previous studies and examples have been brought together to evaluate Proconnesus' export model and delivery areas, through Corinthian style column capitals and their variations. All around Mediterranean, a total of dispersedly represented 725 examples have been discovered in structures in in-situ state, museums and shipwrecks. %41 of the examples are in Istanbul, %22 in Anatolia, %17 in Italy, %6 in Black Sea %4, in Eastern Mediterranean, %5 in North Africa, %4 in Greece and %1 in Adriatic region. Percentages of discovered column capitals are as follows; %39 "Großgezacktem", %38 "Lyre", %13 "Medallion", %8 "Weichgezacktem" and %2 "Feingezacktem".
