Abstract (EN)

Marmaray Project is one of the most important projects in the world Istanbul maintain healthy urban life, urban contemporary urban life and presentation of urban transport facilities, the city's historic properties to preserve the natural environment using high-polluting electric power capacity of a projectRing in the districts of Gebze on the Asian side on the European side with an uninterrupted, modern, high-capacity commuter rail system in Istanbul in order to connect the commuter rail system is based on the improvement and construction of Bosporus crossing under the sea. The project is currently one of the world's largest transportation infrastructure projects. Improved and all of the new railway system, will be approximately 76 km long. Main structures and systems, the immersed tube tunnel, bored tunnels, cut-and-cover tunnels, at-grade structures, three new underground stations, 36 surface stations (renovation and upgrading), operation control center, the fields, workshops, maintenance facilities, which will be built above ground, the new a third line, including the improvement of existing tracks, completely new electrical and mechanical systems and procurement of modern railway vehicles which will be covered.In this paper, using average wave velocities in layers, thickness, density and formation data based on the PS logs, 43 m and 65.5 m depths ranging from 7 different boring logs in a ground-wise different geological regions in Istanbul, ground response functions were obtained. Based on the soil profiles transferred to EERA (Equivalent -Linear Earthquake Site Response Analyses of Layered Soil Deposits) software, the rock soil record of Kocaeli - Gölcük earthquake in İstanbul - Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, response and design spectrums that may be considered crucial in case of an earthquake were obtained.
