Video assisted education before postoperative mastectomy, postoperative pain, anxiety and patient comfort

The patients who constituted the intervention group were informed about the breast structure by using preoperative preoperative breast model and self-breast examination was taught. Afterwards, the training videos (CD) prepared by the researchers were watched and asked to repeat the exercises and the data collection forms were filled. At second and tenth day, postoperatively, the forms were replenished and the difficulties they experienced after the operation were determined and recorded. The patients who constituted the control group is; the nurses were interviewed at the beginning of the operation and the practices and standard trainings were carried out in the pre-operation preparation phase which is included in the standard operation of the clinics
