Özet (EN)
In our research, it was aimed to investigate the L. monocytogenes from milk samples taken from cattle with mastitis in Aydın province and its provinces by phenotypic and genotypic methods. The research material consisted of 200 cattle that had symptoms of mastitis in cattle farms in and around Aydın province. A total of 200 milk samples with mastitis taken from cattle were brought to the laboratories of Microbiology Department of Adnan Menderes University Veterinary Faculty under cold chain. Identification of L. monocytogenes was carried out by phenotypic methods from milk samples. The isolates identified as L. monocytogenes were genotypically confirmed by PCR. The isolation and identification of 11 (5.5%) L. monocytogenes in 200 milk samples were identified. A total of 11 isolates of L. monocytogenes (100%) confirmed by PCR using L. monocytogenes specific primers and were identified as positive for the inlB gene. As a result, 5.5 % of L. monocytogenes were identified by phenotypic and genotypic methods in milk samples taken from cattle with mastitis in our research and L. monocytogenes was brought out in Aydın dairy milk cattle farms.
