Özet (EN)

It assumes that using virtual manipulatives and simulations in mathematics teaching will concretize abstract concepts, mathematics lessons will be more interesting, and permanent learning will be provided by integrating more sensory organs into teaching. To use virtual manipulatives and simulation in mathematics teaching to become effective, mathematics courses from preschool to university should be supported with technological tools and educational software. For this reason, it is essential for preschool, primary, secondary, and high school mathematics and high school mathematics teachers, who have a say in mathematics teaching, to recognize virtual manipulatives and simulations and to use them in lessons. Teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge affects using virtual manipulatives and simulations in mathematics lessons. This study aims to determine teachers' virtual manipulative and simulation use cases and opinions in mathematics teaching. The research is a descriptive study designed with a scanning model. Preschool, primary school, secondary school mathematics, and high school mathematics teachers' use of virtual manipulative and simulation in mathematics learning areas, use of formative assessment tools, distribution of the frequency of use of specified virtual manipulative and simulation sites in mathematics teaching according to branches, opinions on the use of virtual manipulative and simulation in mathematics teaching The situation of recommending the use of virtual manipulatives in mathematics teaching to teachers and parents was examined, and the results were reported. SPSS (26.0) statistical program was used to analyze the research data. Frequency distributions and percentages were obtained with the specified program. More than 70% of the teachers who participated in the survey said they had never used Web 2.0 tools in teaching mathematics. 77,8% of preschool teachers think that the use of virtual manipulatives and simulations in mathematics lessons "Increases the relationship between mathematics and information technologies", 78% of primary school teachers think that "It is effective in embodying abstract concepts", 77,5% of secondary school mathematics teachers 67,6% of high school mathematics teachers stated that they strongly agreed with the views "It provides a better understanding of the concepts related to mathematics" and "It is effective in concretizing abstract concepts".
