Investigation of mathematics teachers' educati̇onal sites

The use of computer technology has required transformations in operations in areas and educational processes have been affected by these transformations. Computer and internet tools have entered the classrooms by offering possibilities and started to play role in teaching. One of the evocations of transformation is the transformation in teacher resource use. One of the most important of these online resources is educational websites. In this research, it is aimed to examine educational sites used by mathematics teachers. The research is designed as a document analysis model of qualitative research methods. Four educational websites with mathematics topics were selected for review. As a data gathering tool, "research form of educational web sites" prepared by the researcher was used and the sites were examined by this form, scored and analyzed by content analysis. The sites were examined according to the main criteria of Institutional and Reliability, Usability, General Content, Educational Content and Measurement and Evaluation. At the end of the study, it was concluded that sites produced correct and up-to-date content according to their grade levels and curriculum. In addition, it was concluded that the sites were adequate to accelerate the preparation process for the lessons.It has been concluded that the sites have the potential to reach the visual, auditory and interactive tools in the near future for some of them almost had it. However, the sites were not considered sufficient to give feedback to the evaluation activities. In addition, it is seen that providing external contributions that are expected to have a positive effect on the sites creates irregularities in the structure of the site and has a negative impact on the correct content.
