The effect of ability to use technology of mathematics teachers on productivity

The examine of this study to affective mathmatic teacher?s level of technology use. Nowadays, many different learning and teaching theories and strategies are offered, developed and applied for getting the best result in students? learning for a while in education. For instance; constructivist theory, discovery learning strategy, research- analysis learning strategy, question and answer method, van Hiele theory, etc. have been used and advised to use in lessons.Even though educational theories and strategies mentioned above are useful for teachers and students, these theories and models are insufficient. Therefore, there is an expectation that learning and teaching will be more successful if these theories and strategies are supported with using technology.Beside to well ? prepared educational computer programmes are useful in learning and teaching mathematics, different programmes are used in the other fields like science and social sciences. Because educators, scientists, managers and other people want to take advantages of using computer. For instance, distance learning is one of the distinct advantages in computer aided education. The widespread internet is raised the importance of using computer today.The aim of this research is that the efficiency of Mathematics teachers on using technology effects on fertility is analysed.In this research, the topic is searched whether the teachers? different independent variables ( gender, age, Professional seniority, educational background) change or not. Furthermore, how the teachers use the technology and the willingness of using technology are tried to determine.In this research,firstly reported papers and the relevant literature are searched.The questionnaire which is going to use in this thesis are developed for the next step. At this point, pre-questionnaire is developed with the light of the result of the field research and the original format is given as a result of the expert opinion.The developed questionnaire is applied to 150 mathematics teachers who contribute to the research randomly.Then, the questionnaire?s datas are evaluated in SPSS statistical programme and given statistical charts. Lastly, the findings are discussed and in this context, advices are given.Briefly, according to the findings,generally,teachers are willing to use technology and there are enough technological equipments in schools.It is determined that Mathematics teacher are not in the necessary level in the efficiency of using technology and male Mathematics teachers use more technology than female Mathematics teachers. Moreover, Mathematics teachers contributing to this research is getting older and professional seniority, their efficiency of using technology is lower. Lastly, it is obtained that using technology is rised in paralel with the teachers? high educational background.
