The possibility of Ishari tafsir in maturidi's ta'wilat al-Qur'an

Imam Maturidi is an important scholar who studies theology, tafsir and other Islamic sciences. Even though Maturidi's name in the field of ishari tafsir is not mentioned, it is obvious that the comments he made in his tafsir will fall within the scope of ishari tafsir. Te'vîlâtül-Kur'an is a work of Mâtürîdî that has been evaluated within the scope of sagacity commentary. Mâtürîdî has been remembered with his identity as mutekellim until today. Studies on the commentator's contributions and contributions to Sufism have recently begun to be carried out. For example, it is expressed in some circles that there are no symbolic interpretations in his tafsir. However, the studies conducted indicate that Māturīdī's interpretation is found in a way that contributes to the ishari interpretation. This study was conducted to reveal the symbolic aspects of Maturidi's commentary. While carrying out the study, it is tried to obtain information about Mâtürîdî's connection with Sufism, taking into account the time and geography in which he lived. These data, when considering developments in developments, are information written by other people at other times, Concrete results were achieved by compiling and comparing. It seems that Maturidi reflected the knowledge and culture of the geography in which he lived in his commentary. One of the important indicators of this is that he conveyed some issues regarding symbolic interpretations in his tafsir. It is also stated in the sources that Maturidi had a Sufi side. In fact, some information is also included, such as the fact that Māturīdī, about whom legends and dreams are told, met with Hızır. In the work of a scholar such as Kelabazî, whose Sufism aspect is at the forefront, it is stated that Mâtürîdî influenced the Transoxiana Sufis with his asceticism and life. In this context, when evaluating Maturidi and his work in terms of Sufism, it is necessary to take into consideration the mystical structure of the region in which he lived and the effects of this structure on the Islamization process. Rather than whether Maturidi was a pure Sufi or not, what we are trying to reveal is directly related to understanding what he contributed to the time and place he was in and how he reflected these contributions in his work.
