A comparative approach to Mâturîdîsm and Ash'arîsm's understanding of teklif-i mâ lâ yutâk

This study consists of two parts. In the first part, we tried to explain some of the concepts that we consider necessary to understand the subject of the proposal. These; freedom of man, kasb, will, istitaat and power. In the second part, we examined the concept of wisdom, together with the proposal and the elements that make up the proposal, comparatively. The concept of proposal, which is among the main purposes of the study, constitutes the field of study of many branches of science. Concentrating on the science of Kalam, which is one of these branches of science, constitutes the framework of our study. The proposal has been the subject of kalam in terms of the act of Allah. Since the first period of the emergence of Kalam, 'Taklif-i Mâ La Yutâk' in other words, whether Allah puts a human being in a case that he will owercome or not. Whether this station is fair for Allah, whether making a proposal or the conditions requiring proposal are responsibility, for Allah have been discussed. These discussions is generally made ower two dimensions. The first on is divine justice and the second is in the context of basement of human responsibility. In our study, we will try to deal with the theses of both groups on the subject, together with their evidence, by emphasizing the views of the Maturidi and Ash'ari sects on taklif-i mâ la yutâk.
