Examination of Max Reger's "Solo Cello Suite no. 2 in D Minor, Op. 131c", in terms of interpretation and technique

In the current study, one of the most important solo cello works titled "Solo Cello Suite No. 2 in D Minor, Op. 131c", which was composed by a modernist 19th century German composer Max Reger, will be discussed in terms of the interpretation and the technique. The first chapter of study focuses on 19 th century; the life of Max Reger and the importance of J.S. Bach to Reger were reviewed. In the second chapter, the suit form of baroque and movements of suites were examined. In the third chapter, Reger's "Solo Cello Suite No. 2 in D Minor, Op131c" was investigated both in general terms and with basic form analysis related to sections. The topic has not been discussed before in proficiency in art, master' or doctoral theses in terms of examination of interpretation and technique. Moreover, Turkish resources related to the subject are quite limited. The aim of this study is to provide an effective resource in Turkish to whom it may concern.
