Teaching literary text based on demonstration at the 9,10, 11, 12th grade Turkish literature coursebooks in the secondary scholls of the Ministiry of National Education (MEB)

This study investigates the literary texts which are related to demonstration in the Turkish Literature Textbooks of Ministiry of National Education ( MEB) for secondary education.The aim of this study was to submit new proposals for teaching this literary texts. This study is composed of five parts. First part explains the birth of theatre and its species. Second one explains the turkish theatres. And third examines modern turkish theatre from reorganisation period of Ottoman Empire (1839-76) to these days.Fourth part emphasizes theatre?s place in the education . İn the last part questions about literary texts which depend on demonstrate was examined and new aspects was suggested.9,10, 11, 12th grade Turkish Literature lesson books was selected. All sub-text questions and activities included in those grade Turkish Literature lesson book formed the sample group of the study.Key words: the literary texts which are related to demonstration (theatre), Turkish literature teaching, sub-text question, activity.
