Abstract (EN)
The subject of this study is the examination, transcription and creation of the critical edition of the poetry manuscript Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr found in the Ali Emîrî Collection of Millet Manuscript Library, number 638, covering folios 1a-60b. This study begins by highlighting the purpose, significance and methodology of the research. It provides information about the external features, content, language and orthographic, characteristics, poets and the metersand forms of poetry used in the manuscript folio 1a-60b, followed by a brief discussion of the lives of the poets. In the second part of the study the text was transcribed and a critical edition was constructed. Differences bethween the manuscript and the other work used for comparison are noted in the footnothes. Lastly, the study included the table of contents we compiled in line with the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP). Keywords: Millet Manuscript Library, Journal, Poetry Journal, Classical Turkish Literature, MESTAP Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr is consist of 87 foils. İn the folios we examined, 269 poems written in 11 different poetry forms by 37 poets who lived between the 15th and 18th centuries. The biographies of 34 identified poets are included in the study. The aim of this study is to bring to light poets and poems whose divans are unknown, whose works cannot be identified in existing sources, or whose poems inaccesible even if identified, thereby maling a modest contrubution to future academic research. The discovery of such poems and poets aims to contribute to literary history and to enable a broader evaluation of these lost values.
