Abstract (EN)

The objective of this study is to examine, transcribe, and create an edited text of the poetry anthology entitled "Mecmûa'a-i Gazeliyyât ve Eş'âr," which is recorded under the number NEKTY03296 in the Rare Books Library of Istanbul University, covering the folios 1b-38a. The introduction of the study provides an overview of the aim, significance, methodology, and scope of the research. The external characteristics, content, language, and writing features of the anthology are then presented in the form of items and tables. The transcription of the poems recorded in the anthology is carried out, and a comparative text of the identified poems is created, with the resulting information provided in footnotes. The anthology contains 194 poems, 12 of which are in Persian and 182 of which are in Turkish. The Persian poems have been excluded from the scope of the study and are not analyzed. The Turkish poems are recorded with specific characteristics such as the poet's pen name, the form/type of the poem, and the verse form indicated. Of the 70 poets whose poems were identified in the anthology, the identities of 26 have been determined and their biographical information has been included in the study. An analysis of the structure of the anthology and consideration of the various records within it reveal that the work was composed by multiple editors at different times. The goal of this study is to make the poems of poets who are not included in the divan, whose names appear in tezkires but whose poems are not accessible, and whose works are not available in academic sources, available to the public. Additionally, by bringing to light the previously unknown poems of poets who have gained fame and whose works can be accessed, this research aims to complete their oeuvre and contribute to the field of Turkish literatur.
