In this study, we dealt with all the issues of Mecmua-ı Lisan Journal, which was published as 46 issues in 1898, 1899 and 1900. The journal could be published for 2 years. Though the journal was announced to be published in 15 days period, some of the issues were published weekly and the last issues were published monthly.Mecmua-ı Lisan Journal was a literary weighted journal with mutual translations from French and Turkish literatures and also with information belonging to French language. In our study, we examined the entire contents of the journal and classified and analyzed these.In order to provide a better comprehension about the period that the journal was published, we included the political and social incidents of the Ottoman State of that period. We included the form and contents of the journal. We prepared the index basing on the author and subject types. We provided information regarding the author staff of the journal. We transcribed the literary texts as select texts and placed them in the study. As an appendix to the study, we included some selected example pages from the journal.
