Terms in civil procedure law

Periods, which have an important place in terms of our civil jurisdiction law, are regulated in various provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure for the persons involved in the trial with different characteristics and lengths. In our study, the features and legal qualities of the periods included in the Code of Civil Procedure were investigated, and information was given about the periods in similar legal systems that originate our country. In procedural law, the place of time with in the principles of jurisdictional law and its connection with these principles have been evaluated. The features of the time periods arranged for persons taking part in private law proceedings are mentioned. The features of the periods determined in the Code of Civil Procedure and by the judge were tried to be explained, and theresults of non-compliance with these periods were explained. Information has been provided with in the framework of the provisions of the law regarding the periods of first degree judgment, ordinary and extraordinary legal remedies, and the periods in arbitration proceedings. In the law, information about the calculation of the starting and ending times of the periods to make a transaction time sorend times was made by the law, and information was given about the status of the periods during the public holidays and judicial holidays. By explaining the consequences of not complying with the definite and uncertain deadlines, the law or the judge tried to mention the institution of making it a way that the parties can apply to abduct the deadlines for subjective reasons, and the characteristics of this institution were explained. Finally, ourstudy has been completed by examining the effects of extraordinary situations on durations. In addition, the recent Supreme Court decisions were used as much as possible in this study.
