Nihad Sâmi Banarlı, historian of literature, writer and literature teacher. (1907-1974) During his life he trained the Turkish youth with culture and sound charecter and with the help of his experience in teaching he helped the children to like literature, language and national identity. With the help of teaching, it is wanted to bring up children who have cultural, social and moral value. Literature training makes a contribution to constitution of nation senses by using the language and culture of the society. Also it is important for youths estetistic education to explain our literature knowledge with good examples and its characteristic features, and unbiased evaluation. İn this study, it is emphasised that would should be done to get a good result from culture civilization, social education, Turksih literature and education. Banarlı?s viev is main the main source for this study. Culture is treasure that includes material and spiritual things. Also culture consists of literature, architecture, music and other brunches of art. However, national culture earned us national identity and consists of material and spiritual values that helps to understand the difference between natioanalities. National culture changes society to nation and unity of the society is as a result of national culture. Social education is the element of culture, brings up children within social manners and education and gets a social responsibility and the best manners of society. From this point of view social education gets a sense with in the conscience of human. Also Banarlı, paid attention to social education with his writings and offered solutions to some social problems. As a result what is the Banarlı?s wiev?s about culture- civilization and relation between national culture and education, however what is the significance and importance of his views about Turksih literature and esthetic education? is the question that is wanted to answer.
