Abstract (EN)

Media is among the phenomena that have had an impact on people and societies since the first day it was created. While the media that first appeared in written form had an impact on relatively fewer people, over time, with the emergence of visual and audio media elements, it began to have an impact on large audiences. Media also has an impact on herd behavior and investors' financial decisions. Media; It shapes investors' opinions and perceptions in stock markets through newspapers, news and social media tools. Declines and rises in stock prices can be exaggerated through the media, causing investors to panic, and the resulting panic can cause investors to make irrational decisions.
