An overview about Mehmet Doğan's articles of poems

M.H. Doğan, who was born in 1931 and died in 2008, started writing stories and poems at the begining and then began to write essays and criticisms in 1960.All his life,he followed Turkish anthology of poems and contributed to Turkish poems as a critic and translate. His criticism about Turkish poems after 1980 and İkinci Yeni published in various magazines have been collected in ten books. This master degree thesis starts with Turkish poems criticism history in a panaromic style.İt deals with M.H.Doğan's life,style of criticism and his written work.All his criticism articles published as books have been categorized according to their themes and appreciated.At the end of this study,place of M.H.Doğan's in Turkish criticism history has been detected and the results of the study have been acknowledged. Consedering impotance and guidance of criticism in literature,the number of studies on criticism in Turkish literature should be increased.I think the study on M.H.Doğan's written work and criticism of poems will contribute a bit in this field and ease the future studies of researchers.
