Abstract (EN)
Mehmet Niyazi Özdemir has written both articles and topic novels in his literature life. However, he has become known with his historical novels. In this study, Vocabulary of Çanakkale Mahşeri, Kanije, Plevne, Yazılmamış Destanlar and Yemen Ah Yemen that are Mehmet Niyazi Özdemir 's all historical novels were examined in nouns field. It has been determined that the number of nouns in Mehmet Niyazi Özdemir's historical novels are 37 percent of the 14,940 unique words in his historical novels. The nouns in all 5 novels were defined according to their contextual meanings and classified according to their concept areas. In this classification, it was determined that the nouns used by the author belong to 62 different concept areas. The nouns used in the novels were compared by using the tables according to the concept areas. In the same way, personal names, special place names and national names in the novels are specified by comparing with the tables. Thus, the usage frequency and rate of personal names, place names and national names in the novels were tried to reveal. Finally, detailed grammatical indexing work of five historical novels of the author is studied. In the index study, the nouns and verbs in the author's vocabulary are separated from the annexes and it was found how often names and verbs were used by author. The grammatical index of the study was made by considering the conceptual structure of the nouns and the situation of the verbs. In the final chapter, the relationship between Mehmet Niyazi Özdemir's literary style and his used nouns were examined
