The reflection of calligraphic and typographic approach on space perception

With the inclusion of art in the long-standing background of writing, the art of writing entered human life and took place in many points and various ways in life. In this study, the art of writing; calligraphy and typography has been examined specifically in regards of a space and its usage. The effects of calligraphic and typographic elements on the perception of the space, its contribution and the expansions created in the perception of the space have been questioned through examples. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the daily developing and strengthening effects of calligraphic and typographic approaches, which plays an important role in defining a space or environment. The calligraphic and typographic effects and approaches in the intellectual process supported with a conceptual infrastructure, the prepared grounds made by new techniques and technological opportunities have been emphasized and evaluated by examples.
