Spiritual interface in space-human dialogue

Human is a being that is home to spiritual existence under physical existence. While preserving its existence in the outside. World with its body; with his spirituality, he creates his perceptions, feelings, thoughts an deven reactions. This special situation makes people unique and encourages people to make sense of life. The living space plays an important role in the meaning of life, with the bond that people establish with life and their effectiveness in realizing this bond. Within the scope of this study, the relationship of human spirituality with space was examined. The spiritual influence in the space-human dialogue calls the deep diversity of meanings beneatth the visible for discovery. The purpose of this thesis, in which the examined relationship between space and human is in the brackets of ''spirit''; it is the study and analysis of the spiritual effect of architecture, the building block of which is space, on the human touch. Fort purpose, within the scope of the thesis, concepts of spirit and spirituality have been examined in depth, and their relationship with architecture has been discussed. Then, with a comprehensive literature search, some of the prominent factors that are thought to have an active role in the spirituality of architecture are classified and explained in the second part of the thesis. In the third part, in order to support the abstract expressions within the scope of the thesis with concrete examples, a sample group was formed with the structures selected from the many samples searched. The effect of this sample group on human was analyzed under the light of the architect's design philosophy and visitor comments, by evaluating the factors determined. Then, the findings of the analysis and evaluations were examined; the information and impressions obtained during the study are presented in the results section.
